"We are such stuff as dreams are made on..."
— The Tempest
My Story
I am a first-generation Beninese-American born and raised in Storrs, Connecticut. I spent the early years of her life observing my father continue the Yoruba oral tradition through storytelling, which inspired my love for acting and storytelling. I earned her B.F.A. from Howard University (HU!), where I majored in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Musical Theatre and minored in Psychology. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Honors Program, and I went on to complete an M.F.A. in acting at The Old Globe and the University of San Diego Shiley Graduate Theatre Program. That's where I fell in love with classical text and theater education. I am an actor, but I'm also a reader, a runner, and a knitter and perfume enthusiast. I took my gym hobby a little too far and became a National Academy of Sports Medicine-certified personal trainer, fitness model and coach.
